Abstract:
Provided are a base station device, a terminal device, and a communication method that make efficient communication possible while suppressing increases in channel state information (CSI) when communicating using multiple antennas. The terminal device, which communicates with the base station device, comprises: a reception unit which receives a CSI report configuration and a CSI reference signal (CSI-RS); a CSI measurement unit which uses the CSI-RS to obtain CSI; and a transmission unit which transmits said CSI to the base station device. The CSI report configuration includes a codebook configuration that configures a type-1 codebook or a type-2 codebook, and when a type-2 codebook is configured by the codebook configuration, the CSI includes one among a type-1 CSI based on the type-1 codebook and a type-2 CSI based on the type-2 codebook.
