Abstract:
This base station transmits, to a terminal device, control information pertaining to a setting of a first timer. The terminal device measures wireless quality. Upon detection of an event triggering a handover, on the basis of wireless quality measurement results, the terminal device transmits measurement information expressing the measurement results to the base station, in accordance with the state of the first timer which is controlled on the basis of control information and the state of a second timer which is different from the first timer. The base station executes the handover after receiving the measurement information.
