Abstract:
Efficient notification of control information by a base station to a terminal is made possible in a wireless communications system wherein the base station and the terminal communicate. The base station sets monitoring, for a second control channel transmitted using a second transmission port differing from a first transmission port used for transmission of a first control channel, to the terminal by using RRC signaling which is upper layer control information. The base station maps and sends the control information for the terminal to the second control channel. The first transmission port is a transmission port used for sending cell-specific reference signals which are reference signals common within a cell. The second transmission port is a transmission port used for sending terminal-specific reference signals which are reference signals specific to the terminal.
