Abstract:
A base station (20) communicates upstream and downstream signals with a terminal, switching the signals by time division. The base station has a generation unit (222), a transmission unit (240a), a first reception unit (240a), and a second reception unit (240b). The generation unit generates a wireless signal by multiplexing a plurality of transmission signals allocated to wireless sources differing in duration. The transmission unit transmits the wireless signal in a first frequency band to the terminal with downstream signal transmission timing. The first reception unit receives an upstream signal in the first frequency band that is transmitted from the terminal with the upstream signal transmission timing. The second reception unit receives, in a second frequency band different from the first frequency band, a response signal that corresponds to at least one transmission signal among response signals indicating whether or not each of a plurality of transmission signals included in the wireless signal is correctly received by the terminal.
