Abstract:
A roadside device 40, which controls a traffic safety device disposed at the intersection of a general road 120 and a specific road 110, determines, on the basis of at least one message from a target vehicle travelling on the general road 120, whether the target vehicle is a prescribed vehicle that is allowed to travel on the specific road 110 and whether or not the target vehicle is attempting to enter the specific road 110. If it has been determined that the target vehicle is the specific vehicle and the target vehicle is attempting to enter the specific road 110, the roadside device 40 controls the traffic safety device so as to allow the target vehicle to enter the specific road 110.
