Abstract:
A base station, when having accommodated a handed-over mobile unit, receives, as
inter-base-station forwarded packets, data packets, which are addressed and
to be transmitted to the mobile unit, from a handover-source base station. The
base station comprises a data receiving part (21-2) that holds inter-base-station forwarded
packets and data packets to which sequence numbers have been added; a read control
part (22-2) that, when the data receiving part (21-2) holds the inter-base-station
forwarded packets, reads all of the inter-base-station forwarded packets in
the order of the sequence numbers and thereafter reads the data packets in theorder
of receptions; and a packet transmitting means that transmits the inter-base-station
forwarded packets and data packets read by the read control part (22-2) to the
destination mobile unit. The read control part (22-2) determines, based on the
sequence numbers, whether all of the inter-base-station forwarded packets
have been read.
