Abstract:
A base station (10) according to an embodiment comprises a first wireless signal processing unit (130), a second wireless signal processing unit (140), and a beacon management unit (122). The first wireless signal processing unit is configured to transmit and receive wireless signals using a first channel. The second wireless signal processing unit is configured to transmit and receive wireless signals using a second channel different from the first channel. The beacon management unit manages the transmission of beacons by the first wireless signal processing unit so that a first beacon is periodically transmitted from the first wireless signal processing unit, and manages the transmission of beacons by the second wireless signal processing unit so that the first beacon and a second beacon including information that has become more simplified than information included in the first beacon are periodically switched and transmitted from the second wireless signal processing unit.
