Abstract:
A baseball game toy (10) comprising a bat-like member for allowing a player to perform a hitting operation and feel actual playing of the baseball and provided with a grip portion (11) formed at one of the ends and a swell portion (12) at the other end so that the player can perform a hitting operation with the toy held by his hands. A start switch (23) for generating a pitching signal by the operation of the player is disposed on the peripheral surface of this bat-like member. The swell portion (12) includes a lever member (37) and a leaf switch (25) capable of generating a hitting signal by the hitting operation by the player, display portions (15, 17, 19, 51) capable of displaying predetermined display contents and a microcomputer (40) for detecting the generation of the pitching signal and the hitting signal and reporting a hitting evaluation selected on the basis of the generation interval between the both signals to the display portions (15, 17, 19, 51).
