Abstract:
Provide a basic matrix, coder/encoder and generation method of the Low Density Parity Check Codes. The coder/encoder is determined uniquely by the parity check matrix of the Low Density Parity Check Codes. With different code length, said parity check matrix may be obtained from expanding of the different basic matrix, and also may be obtained from modifying of the unique basic matrix. The elements of said basic matrix must meet the inequation in which the girth value is up to the mustard, e.g. girth≥ 6,any element i, j, k, l which is in the short loop formed in anticlockwise whose length is 4 of the matrix, then mod(i-j+k-l,z) always unequal to 0. The girth of the formed basic matrix is made as large as possible by this invention, the amount of the short loop is as few as possible when the same girth, the curve of the error rate is dropped quickly, error flat phenomenon of the Low Density Parity Check Codes is eliminated effectively and the best performance of the Low Density Parity Check Codes is obtained.
