Abstract:

A bath tub apparatus for storing hot water and washing the body effectively utilizes a dead space of a space portion (S) defined between a bath tub (1) and a cover (5) covering the side portion of the bath tub (1) to secure an accommodation space of toiletries provides for the use of the bath tub apparatus, and is provided with portability. The bath tub apparatus includes the bath tub (1), the cover (5) covering at least the side portion of the bath tub (1), the space portion (S) defined between the bath tub (1) and the cover (5), and an accommodation space (8) opened to the side surface of the cover (5), recessed towards the bath tub (1) and securing its capacity inside the space portion (S). In addition to this construction, a constituent requirement for integrally and portably assembling the bath tub (1), the cover (5) and the accommodation space (8) are provided. According to the present invention, one can take out the toiletries and put them from and into the accommodation space (8) by stretching out his hand from the bath tub (1), and the bath tub can be transported with the toiletries. Besides washing of the body, the bath tub can be used for massaging the body by jetting air or a mixture of air and hot water into hot water, and since the bath tub apparatus is portable, its installation position can be freely changed.
