The present invention relates to a battery case, a battery case molding device, and a secondary battery manufacturing method. The present invention provides: a battery case which prevents insulation defects by allowing a sealing material melted in a sealing portion to be accommodated in an insulation defect preventing portion, thereby having improved productivity and quality; a battery case molding device; and a secondary battery manufacturing method. The battery case according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is a battery case of a pouch-type secondary battery in which an electrode assembly is accommodated, comprises: a first case; a second case covering the first case from the upper portion; a cup portion provided in at least one of the first case and the second case and having a space formed to accommodate the electrode assembly; and a side portion formed along the outer circumferences of the first case and the second case, wherein the side portion comprises: a sealing portion in which the first case and the second case come into contact with each other and are sealed; and an insulation defect preventing portion that is formed between the sealing portion and the cup portion and accommodates the sealing material melted in the sealing portion.
