Abstract:

Provided is a battery case for saddled vehicles, the battery case enabling the effective use of the space between the left and right vehicle body frames of a saddled vehicle. This battery case 70 is mounted on a saddled vehicle 1 having: a left and right pair of main frames 2a extending rearward and downward from a head pipe 9; and a fuel tank 3 located behind the head pipe 9 and above the main frames 2a, and the battery case 70 accommodates at least a battery B. The battery case 70 is located between the head pipe 9 and the fuel tank 3, and the fuel tank 3 and the battery case 70 are arranged so as to partially overlap each other in a side view of the vehicle body. The rear end of the battery case 70 is accommodated in a recess 3b formed in the front part of the fuel tank 3 at the center thereof in the vehicle width direction. The battery case 70 has a case section 72 which accommodates the battery B, and a cover section 71 which covers the upper opening of the case section 72. The case section 72 and the cover section 71 are configured so as to partially overlap each other in a side view of the vehicle body.
