Abstract:
Provided is a battery cell assembly that includes a battery cell and a thin film-profile sensor. The battery cell includes a housing, and first and second electrode terminals. The thin film-profile sensor includes: a flexible plastic sheet; and a microprocessor, a sensor circuit, and a heat generating circuit which are connected to the flexible plastic sheet. When the battery cell supplies a current through the heat generating circuit, the microprocessor determines a first voltage value representing the open circuit voltage of the battery cell, and a second voltage value. When the battery cell supplies a current through the heat generating circuit, the microprocessor determines a current value, and determines an internal resistance value based on the first voltage value, the second voltage value, and the current value.
