Abstract:

The present invention provides a battery cell in which an electrode assembly comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a separation membrane interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode is mounted in a receiving part of a battery cell case; a positive terminal and a negative terminal protrude from at least one surface of the outer circumferential surface of the electrode assembly; and an insulating material is added between the electrode assembly and the battery cell case.
