Abstract:
[Problem] To achieve a battery which can be disabled when a phenomenon that can cause malfunction is detected, and a charger.
[Solution] This battery is provided with: a battery pack 11 which has battery cells; sensors 12, 13 which detect phenomena that cause malfunction of the battery pack 11; memory 14 which stores the detection signals of the sensors; and a cut-off circuit 15, 16 which cuts off output of the battery pack 11 on the basis of the detection signal. This charger 3, for charging a battery that can be mounted in a unmanned aerial vehicle, has a diagnostic circuit 33 which diagnoses whether or not the battery is functioning normally, and prohibits charging the battery if the diagnostic circuit determines that the battery cannot function normally.
