Abstract:
A battery charging and swapping station, comprising a battery swapping platform (1), a battery compartment (2) and a battery swapping device. The battery compartment (2) comprises battery racks (21) and a battery transfer mechanism, which are arranged side by side. The battery swapping platform (1) and the battery racks (21) are all located above the ground (7). The battery swapping device is mounted in a battery swapping passage (3) located below the ground (7). The battery swapping passage (3) extends in a direction from a position below the battery swapping platform (1) to the battery compartment (2). In addition, the total length of the battery swapping passage (3) in an extension direction is less than the total length of the battery charging and swapping station in said direction. The length by which the battery swapping passage (3) extends to a position below the battery compartment (2) can allow one battery to be accommodated.
