Abstract:
A battery charging/discharging control device charges a battery with a constant current in a constant current mode and is switched to a constant voltage mode to charge the battery with a constant voltage when a voltage of the battery corresponds to an end-of-charge voltage. The end-of-charge voltage is set to a first end-of-charge voltage obtained by subtracting a cathode threshold potential from a full charge voltage of the battery, wherein the cathode threshold potential is a potential value of a cathode causing a phase change of an anode active material contained in the battery.
