Abstract:
A battery control device (battery assembly control unit 150) includes a battery state of degradation estimating unit 521, a storage unit 180, and an upper limit voltage estimating unit 1522. The battery state of degradation estimating unit 521 estimates a first state of degradation of a battery on the basis of at least any one of the usage history of the battery, the capacity retention ratio, and the rate of increase of internal resistance, and estimates a second state of degradation of a constituent element inside the battery for each type of battery. The storage unit 180 stores information relating to the chargeable power upper limit voltage for each battery temperature. The upper limit voltage estimating unit estimates the chargeable power upper limit voltage for the battery on the basis of said information. The upper limit voltage estimating unit 1522 updates said information on the basis of the first state of degradation and the second state of degradation.
