Abstract:
Provided are: a battery control device that increases the opportunities to obtain information about the storage capacity of a secondary battery; and a vehicle system having said battery control device mounted therein. The battery control device 120 mounted in the vehicle system 200 comprises a point-of-time setting unit 153 that sets: a first point of time having a first voltage difference dVa (= CCVa - OCVa) being a first open circuit voltage OCVa deducted from a first closed circuit voltage CCVa; and a second point of time having a second voltage difference dVb (= CCVb - OCVb) being a second open circuit voltage OCVb deducted from a second closed circuit voltage CCVb and having an absolute value for the difference from the first voltage difference dVa of no more than a prescribed value.
