Abstract:
A battery control device comprises: a plurality of cell controllers which are disposed in correspondence with each cell group, are mutually interconnected according to a prescribed communication sequence, and detect a state of each unit battery cell of the corresponding cell group; a control circuit which either activates or suspends the plurality of cell controllers, transmits a communication signal to the cell controller among the plurality of cell controllers of the highest order in the communication sequence, and receives a communication signal from the cell controller among the plurality of cell controllers of the lowest order in the communication sequence; and a first insulation element which is disposed between the control circuit and the highest order cell controller.
