Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/165220
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a battery device, a control method, and an electric vehicle, wherein it is possible to provide a highly safe anti-theft function. A battery outputs direct current power via a power line. A reader/writer reads a set of authentication information of an electronic apparatus by establishing communication by outputting high frequency signals via the power line when the electronic apparatus is coupled to the battery via the power line. When a microcomputer establishes a first connection with the electronic apparatus, the microcomputer stores the read authentication information and controls the battery. When the microcomputer establishes a second connection and so forth with the electronic apparatus, the microcomputer performs an electronic apparatus authentication process on the basis of the read authentication information and the authentication information stored after the first connection and controls the battery in accordance with the result of the electronic apparatus authentication process. The present invention may be applied to a battery device mounted on an electric assist vehicle.
