Abstract:
A battery device (1) is provided with: a battery (10) in which terminal units used for charging are provided in two locations; a first battery charger (20) and a second battery charger (30), which are electrically connected to one of the terminal units in the two locations in the battery (10) and carry out charging; single communication buses (40) provided to the battery (10) and each battery charger for carrying out communications between the battery and the chargers via the terminal units; and terminators provided to the communications buses (40) for the battery (10) and each battery charger. The second battery charger (30) is provided with a connection blocking unit (50) which, when one of the terminal units of the battery (10) is electrically connected to a battery charger, blocks the electrical connection to the other terminal unit of the battery (10).
