Abstract:
The present invention provides a battery device (1) comprising: a plurality of individual cells (3) with a pair of electrode terminals (2) protruding from one end surface (12a) thereof; a casing body (17) with a top plate (22) blocking an upper section and an opening (17a) formed in a lower section, wherein the individual cells are inserted from the opening with the pair of electrode terminals facing upwards, and housed; a temporary pressing section (5) supportable when the individual cells are housed in the casing body; a terminal connection member (6) provided on the inside surface of the top plate, that connects with the pair of electrode terminals in the individual cells housed in the casing body and also electrically connects electrode terminals in adjacent individual cells; and a lid section (18) with cell impelling members (34) that impel the individual cells upwards and make the electrode terminals come in contact with the terminal connection member with the opening in a blocked state, and provided in the opening in an openable and closeable manner.
