Abstract:
A battery diagnosis apparatus, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a voltage measurement unit configured to measure a voltage of a battery during a battery discharge process; a pulse output unit configured to generate a discharge pulse in predetermined periods and output the generated discharge pulse to the battery; and a control unit configured to calculate a resistance value of the battery on the basis of a voltage deviation of the battery caused by the discharge pulse, determine a resistance pattern in a preset initial discharge section on the basis of the calculated resistance value, and diagnose whether lithium is precipitated in the battery according to the determined resistance pattern.
