Abstract:
A battery diagnosis device according to the present invention comprises: a voltage sensing circuit for generating a voltage signal that indicates the cell voltage of a battery cell; a storage medium for storing time series data of the cell voltage; and a control circuit operatively coupled to the voltage sensing circuit and the storage medium. The control circuit (i) receives the voltage signal so as to record, in the storage medium, the time series data of the cell voltage, (ii) determines, on the basis of the time series data, a first cell voltage gradient and a second cell voltage gradient in a first time interval and a second time interval that differ from each other, (iii) determines, on the basis of the time series data, an average gradient of the cell voltage in a third time interval between the first time interval and the second time interval, and (iv) sets the first cell voltage gradient and the second cell voltage gradient as boundary conditions of the normal gradient range, and diagnoses a voltage anomaly of a battery cell if a condition in which the average gradient of the cell voltage deviates from the normal gradient range is established.
