Abstract:
A battery diagnosis device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a voltage measuring unit configured to measure a voltage of each of a plurality of battery cells included in a battery module at voltage measurement intervals; and a control unit configured to obtain voltage values of the plurality of battery cells from the voltage measuring unit at the voltage measurement intervals, calculate voltage variations between the obtained voltage values of the plurality of battery cells, calculate a voltage variation rate between the plurality of calculated voltage variations, at diagnosis intervals that are different from the voltage measurement intervals, and diagnose the battery module on the basis of one or more calculated voltage variation rates and a preset reference variation rate.
