Abstract:
A battery diagnosis device, a battery pack, an electric vehicle, and a battery diagnosis method are provided. The battery diagnosis device according to the present invention is provided for a battery array including first to mth batteries (m is a natural number of 3 or more) that are serially connected. The battery diagnosis device comprises: a sensing unit for detecting the voltage of each of the first to mth batteries; and a control unit for generating first to mth voltage profiles representing the voltage change history of each of the first to mth batteries during charging or discharging of the battery array. The control unit compares, to a reference voltage profile, which is any one of the first to mth voltage profiles, each of first to (m-1) comparison voltage profiles, which are (m-1) voltage profiles that exclude the reference voltage profile, so as to diagnose the battery array.
