Abstract:
A battery pack in this battery-driven electric apparatus comprises a case for housing at least two battery modules, a switch provided to the case, and an output terminal provided to the case. The switch selectively closes for completing the series electric connection of the at least two battery modules and opens for breaking the series electric connection. The switch is interlocked with an actuator provided to the electric apparatus body, and establishes the series electric connection when the case is mounted to the electric apparatus body and cuts off the series electric connection when the case is removed from the electric apparatus body to separate the actuator.
