Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a battery and an electric apparatus. The battery comprises a battery cell and a discharge disposing apparatus, wherein a pressure relief mechanism of the battery cell can discharge a substance out of the battery cell, a disposing space of the discharge disposing apparatus is in communication with the pressure relief mechanism, and a disposing member in the disposing space can dispose a substance which is discharged into the disposing space by the pressure relief mechanism, such that a specified parameter in the substance is reduced, and after the specified parameter of the substance is reduced, the possibility of combustion of the substance is greatly reduced, such that the battery is not prone to combustion even in the case of thermal runaway, thereby facilitating improving the safety of the battery.
