Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a battery, an electric device, a battery preparation method, and a device. The battery comprises: a plurality of cylindrical battery cells, pressure relief mechanisms being arranged on cylinder side faces of the battery cells; an electrical cavity, which is used for accommodating the plurality of battery cells; a collection cavity, which is used for collecting emissions from the battery cells when pressure relief mechanisms actuate; a separation component, which is used for separating the electrical cavity from the collection cavity, the separation component comprising a first area and a second area, the first area being used for accommodating first portions of the battery cells, so as to cause the first portions to protrude out, in the direction of the collection cavity, from a surface of the second area oriented in the direction of the collection cavity; the pressure relief mechanisms are arranged in areas of the cylinder side faces located at the first portions, so as to cause the emissions to enter into the collection cavity when the pressure relief mechanisms actuate. The battery, the electric device, the battery preparation method, and the device provided in embodiments of the present application can improve battery safety.
