Abstract:
A battery electric vehicle comprises a vehicle body (1). A holding structure (3) of a replaceable battery is disposed on a vehicle roof (2) of the vehicle body, and comprises a rotatable side board (4), an assistant structure (5), and a restoring structure (7) configured to restore the side board. A gap is present between the side board and the assistant structure. A snap-fit slot (6) is provided at an upper edge of the side board. A lower edge of the side board is rotatably connected to a frame body of the holding structure. A battery (100) is inserted into the gap from a front end of the side board. When being inserted, the battery touches the front end of the side board, so as to rotatably open the side board outwards. When the battery is inserted into an appropriate position, the side board is restored rotatably inwards. Two ends of the snap-fit slot respectively correspond to a front end and a back end of the battery so as to hold the battery. As a consequence, the side board and the assistant structure hold two sides of the battery. The embodiment is simple in structure, easy to operate, and quick to replace a battery. The embodiments of the invention also provide a method of replacing a battery in an all-electric vehicle.
