Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a battery and an electric device. The battery comprises: a battery cell, a pressure relief mechanism being arranged on a first wall of the battery cell; a thermal management component for adjusting the temperature of the battery cell, the thermal management component being attached to a second wall of the battery cell, and the second wall being different from the first wall; and a confluence component used for being electrically connected to an electrode terminal of the battery cell, the electrode terminal being arranged on a third wall of the battery cell, and the third wall being different from the first wall. Therefore, by means of arranging the confluence component and the thermal management component on different sides from the pressure relief mechanism, emissions of the battery cell can be far away from the confluence component when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, the battery is prevented from being short-circuited, and the emissions of the battery cell can be prevented from damaging the thermal management component, enabling the thermal management component to continuously and normally adjust the temperature of the battery cell and improving the safety of the battery.
