Abstract:
This battery electrode body is characterized in being provided with: a first metal section containing a metal, i.e., an electrode active material, as a main component; a first structural member in contact with a part of the surface of the first metal section; and a coating member in contact with other parts of the surface of the first metal section. The battery electrode body is also characterized in that, in order to have the metal contained in the first metal section exposed, the first metal section, the first structural member and the coating member are provided such that the first metal section can be divided at a plane between the first structural member and the coating member, or the coating member can be removed from the first metal section.
