Abstract:
The invention addresses the problem of providing a battery system in which a battery cell does not exceed a use limit temperature, the frequency in which the battery system stops a charging/discharging process is reduced, and, even if the charging/discharging process is stopped, the recovery time thereof is reduced. The battery system described in the present invention has a plurality of battery cells and a control circuit for controlling the charging/discharging currents of the battery cells. The control circuit performs a plurality of temperature rise estimations on the basis of a battery temperature, a charging/discharging current, and the time width of a time window. The control circuit selects the charging/discharging current corresponding to a temperature rise estimation among the plurality of temperature rise estimations, said temperature rise estimation estimating that temperature rise does not exceed the use limit temperature of the battery cells.
