Abstract:
A battery evaluation system (BRS) is a system for evaluating a storage battery (BM) that includes lithium ion batteries. The battery evaluation system comprises: a battery monitoring unit (20) for monitoring a battery condition of the storage battery; and an evaluating device (130) for acquiring battery condition information including a monitoring result of the battery condition from the battery monitoring unit, and evaluating the storage battery on the basis of the battery condition information. The battery monitoring unit is configured to be capable of calculating an amount of lithium precipitation in the lithium ion batteries, as one indicator indicating the battery condition. The evaluating device determines the storage battery safety on the basis of the amount of lithium precipitation.
