Provided is a battery extracting device and a battery extracting method, wherein the battery extracting device comprises a grip mechanism (1) and a protection mechanism (2); the grip mechanism (1) comprises a substrate (11), a suction cup (12) and a power assembly (14), the suction cup (12) is disposed on the lower side of the substrate (11), the power assembly (14) is disposed on the upper side of the substrate (11) and is used to drive the substrate (11) to move. The protection mechanism (2) comprises a driver (21), a transmission bracket (22) and a support shaft (23), the driver (21) is disposed on the upper side of the substrate (11), one end of the transmission bracket (22) is connected to the driver (21), the support shaft (23) is rotatably connected to the other end of the transmission bracket (22). The driver (21) is capable of driving the transmission bracket (22) to rotate and moving the support shaft (23) to the lower side of the suction cup (12).
