Abstract:
A battery heating device according to one embodiment of the present document may comprise: a charge state calculation unit for calculating a state of charge (SOC) of a battery; a sensor unit for measuring the voltage, current or temperature of the battery; a control unit which determines the charge power of the battery on the basis of the SOC of the battery and the maximum charge power of a charger that is to charge the battery, and which determines whether the battery is heated on the basis of the measured temperature and charge power; and a heating unit for heating the battery if it is determined that the battery is heated.
