Abstract:
The present invention provides a battery housing which is configured from a fiber-reinforced resin, wherein at least inorganic fibers having a melting temperature of more than 1000°C are contained as the fibers. The present invention is able to provide a battery housing formed of a fiber-reinforced resin, the battery housing having excellent flame-blocking properties, thereby making it possible to delay spread of fire to automobile interior members in cases where thermal runaway of a battery occurs and a flame is generated.
