Abstract:
Provided is a battery inspection device (10) that inspects a battery, said battery inspection device being provided with: an application unit (11) that, during a charging/discharging process of the battery, applies to the battery an external voltage in which an AC voltage has been superimposed upon a DC voltage, said external voltage serving to balance the output voltage of the battery; and a measurement unit (12) that measures the magnetic field outside the battery when the external voltage in which an AC voltage has been superimposed upon a DC voltage has been applied to the battery. The battery includes a shield portion that prevents the current inside the battery from generating a magnetic field outside the battery, and the application unit (11) applies, to the battery, an external voltage in which an AC voltage, which corresponds to a second frequency that is lower than a first frequency which is decided on the basis of the characteristics of the shield portion, has been superimposed upon a DC voltage.
