Abstract:
A battery lifespan prediction device comprises: a conductivity measuring unit for measuring the conductivity of particles of active materials contained in an electrode plate of a battery to be measured, by using an atomic force microscope; a lookup table including a correlation between the conductivity of particles of active materials and a charge/discharge cycle of a battery; and a lifespan prediction unit for searching for, in the lookup table, the number of charge/discharge cycles, of a battery, corresponding to the measured conductivity so as to output an expected lifespan of the battery to be measured.
