Abstract:
Provided are a battery management apparatus and an unmanned aerial vehicle. The apparatus comprises: a battery management and measurement module for collecting a physical parameter of a cell group, wherein the battery management and measurement module comprises an electric quantity measurement chip, and the electric quantity measurement chip is used for realizing a corresponding function according to the physical parameter; and a microprocessor module, electrically connected to the battery management and measurement module, for receiving an electric quantity value of the cell group sent by the battery management and measurement module, and when the duration in which the electric quantity value is greater than or equal to an upper threshold exceeds a pre-set time limit, controlling the cell group to be in a discharging state. By means of the present invention, functions of a battery management and measurement chip itself can be fully used to realize overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, over-temperature, and charging and discharging protection for the cell group, thus greatly reducing a peripheral circuit; and self-discharging of a battery is achieved by a microprocessor, thus simplifying the entire structure of a battery management system, and increasing the accommodating space of the battery.
