Abstract:
This battery management device for managing a battery capable of being charged and discharged is provided with an internal parameter predicting unit for predicting an internal parameter corresponding to the future state of the battery, a discharge curve estimating unit for estimating a discharge curve representing a change in discharge voltage from the current state of charge of the battery to a minimum state of charge, on the basis of the internal parameter predicted by the internal parameter predicting unit, and an available energy calculating unit for calculating the available energy of the battery on the basis of the discharge curve, wherein the internal parameter predicting unit predicts the internal parameter using a correlation map indicating a relationship between the temperature and the state of charge of the battery, and Butler–Volmer equation parameter values.
