Abstract:
Disclosed is a battery management system capable of transmitting a secondary protection signal and a diagnostic signal using few insulation elements. N number of battery management units included in the battery management system transmit, by means of time sharing, at least two items of data to one communication line. The N number of data signals transmitted from the N number of battery management units are sequentially transmitted to an external device or are combined into one signal and transmitted to the external device.
