Abstract:
A BMS (1) for managing a battery pack comprises: a BMU (201) that manages the battery pack; a plurality of CMUs (101, etc.) that monitor the battery pack; and a setting circuit (501). The BMU (201) wirelessly transmits, to the plurality of CMUs (101, etc.), a first signal including identification information pertaining to one CMU from among the plurality of CMUs (101, etc.). Each of the plurality of CMUs (101, etc.) has identification information pertaining to said CMU, receives the first signal transmitted by the BMU (201), and outputs a second signal when the received first signal matches the identification information pertaining to the CMU. The setting circuit (501) generates and outputs association information in which position information pertaining to one CMU, among the plurality of CMUs (101, etc.), that has output the second signal and the identification information included in the first signal transmitted by the BMU (201) have been associated.
