Abstract:
This BMS (1) for managing a battery assembly comprises a BMU (201) that manages the battery assembly, and a plurality of CMUs (101, etc.) that monitor the battery assembly. One CMU (101) from among the plurality of CMUs (101, etc.) has a wireless communication circuit (111) and a timer circuit. The one CMU (101) repeatedly transitions, using a timing at which the timer circuit times out, between a first state in which electric power is supplied to the wireless communication circuit (111), whereby the wireless communication circuit (111) can receive a startup signal transmitted by the BMU (201), and a second state in which electric power is not supplied to the wireless communication circuit (111).
