Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a battery that can be produced with high quality and at low cost by, when a plurality of current collection tabs are welded to an exterior can, reducing the output of an energy beam and sufficiently ensuring an output margin thereof. A battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a battery in which an overlap portion K of a plurality of current collection tabs connected to negative electrodes (24) of an electrode body (22) is welded to an exterior can (50) by means of a weld group (40). The weld group (40) includes a weld portion (61) and a weld portion (62) which respectively have linear shapes when viewed from the outside of the exterior can. The weld portion (61) as a first weld portion welds the exterior can (50) with all of the plurality of current collection tabs. The weld portion (62) as a second weld portion welds the exterior can (50) with only some of the plurality of current collection tabs.
