Abstract:
The present invention relates to a battery module having a surface-shaped loading unit and, particularly to, a battery module having a surface-shaped loading unit comprising: a plurality of battery cells; a rectangular-structure frame unit having open upper and lower surfaces for electrically connecting the plurality of battery cells; a first cover for protecting one side surface of the frame unit; a second cover for protecting the other side surface of the frame unit; two battery cells accommodated in the frame unit; and a BMU electrically connected to the two battery cells, wherein the frame unit includes: a frame body in which first and second frames having a rectangular outline are connected in the state of being spaced a predetermined distance apart from each other such that two battery cells can be accommodated while facing each other horizontally; and a loading unit which has a flat upper surface while located in the center of the body of the frame so that the BMU can be located between the two battery cells, and which protrudes a predetermined height.
