Abstract:
The present invention provides: a module case; a battery cell assembly accommodated inside the module case and comprising battery cells, wherein each of the battery cells has an electrode lead drawn out to one side or both sides thereof, and each of the battery cells having underneath an edge portion where the electrode lead is not drawn out, is stacked along the horizontal direction of the module case; a heat sink mounted on the lower side of the module case directed at an edge portion of the battery cells; and a battery module comprising a heat pipe member mounted inside the upper side of the module case, wherein the heat pipe member comprises an evaporator and a condenser, the evaporator formed toward the electrode lead of the battery cells, and the condenser in contact with an interior surface of the module case.
