Abstract:
A battery module according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a cell stack formed by stacking a plurality of battery cells; a module frame coupled to one side or both sides of the cell stack; and a fire-extinguishing unit received in the module frame so as to expel a fire-extinguishing agent when a temperature equal to or higher than a reference temperature is reached.
