Disclosed is a battery module comprising: a plurality of battery cells which have electrode terminals formed with thread grooves; a connection member which has a through-hole into which at least one electrode terminal of the plurality of battery cells is inserted, and which also has a first abutment section; a tightening member which engages with the thread grooves of the electrode terminal projecting from the through-hole, in a state in which the electrode terminal is inserted into the through-hole of the connection member; a flexible printed circuit board which joins to the connection member; and a second abutment section which is capable of abutment with the first abutment section of the connection member. When the tightening member is rotated, the first and second abutment sections are arranged in such a way that the first abutment section of the connection member abuts the second abutment section prior to rotation of the connection member by a critical angle. The critical angle is the angle of rotation of the connection member when deformation of the flexible printed circuit board commences in accordance with rotation of the connection member.
